You will find that most of the popular places in Florida will be overridden with partying young adults and snowbirds however we have some places in mind that just might spark a new Spring Break tradition for you and your loved ones.  Florida is home to many popular destinations but if you’re looking to stay away from the busiest places like Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, consider these other alternatives. Daytona Beach is a popular getaway for families and singles alike. Make sure you stop and make a splash at the Daytona Lagoon, a waterpark and amusement center. If you have any energy left you can always visit Ocean Walk Village, a beachfront multimillion-dollar entertainment area that’s loaded with tasty food, movies, and shops. Even though it may not seem like it, Tallahassee is the perfect destination when thinking about spring break ideas in Florida.  Most of the college kids leave the area during spring break which means you get to explore their beautiful college town uninterrupted.

Naples is another place to consider with its beautiful beaches and picturesque sunsets. Looking to get a little bit more action for Spring Break. Look no further than Hollywood, FL. Natural scenery combines with miles of biking/ walking trails makes any nature lover want to come back for more. If you are looking for a place away from it all, Islamorada is known as the hidden gem of Florida. Worlds away from everything, Islamorado will have you barefoot in no time. It’s a sanctuary for many – a home away from home, some say. The best thing about it though is that not very many people know about this beautiful piece of the vast Florida Pie.  It’s about 90 minutes south of Miami, but its safe to say not many have ventured that far south so you’re guaranteed to have beaches, privacy, and enough peace and quiet to hold you over until next year.
